Financial Controller

MISSION

 

The Controller position is multifaceted and influential in informing and guiding management in company performance. This role ensures that financial information is GAAP-compliant, timely, and complete; standard operating procedures are developed, maintained, and respected; company assets are secure; information and reporting is timely, accurate and relevant; and the Accounting team is productive and professionally developed.

 

  • Prepare timely, complete, and accurate GAAP-compliant monthly financial statements that are consistently audit-ready.
  • Manage cash flow via billings, collections, and inter-departmental collaboration.
  • Develop and execute the initiatives and strategic plans for the Accounting department.
  • Provide the management team with the timely information and reporting they need to analyze financial results and make informed decisions. Assist management in interpreting the data and reports.
  • Assist the President in developing divisional and company annual expense and capital investment budgets. Perform budget variance analysis and inform management of significant variances and the related causes.
  • Oversee the Accounting department activities. Ensure the department is well managed, productive, compliant with all regulations, producing the planned results, and working in collaboration with all departments to achieve departmental and company objectives.
  • Assist the President in designing and implementing the systems required to gather, process and report the financial and job cost information needed by the management team.

 

Our Ideal Candidate

 

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • At least 10 years in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years in Management as this individual will start with 2 direct reports and may increase.
  • Previous experience within construction industry and/or heavy cost accounting preferred.
  • Experience managing and mentoring within a corporate accounting environment.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills due to the open office environment and regular cross functional team management.
  • Experience working with project managers and superintendents and overseeing construction projects and processing.
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Experience in a Microsoft Dynamics product is a plus
  • Experience in ERP migration/implementation

Outside Sales Executive

Outside Sales Executive – Southern California

Are you a personable sales professional committed to self-development and hungry to grow your career? Are you a hunter with a track record of closing deals? Welcome to PrimeCo! We are a reconstruction and painting company focusing on HOA communities and commercial properties. We are a different kind of company committed to building long-term relationships with our customers and developing our team members to be as successful as they can be. PrimeCo specializes in reconstruction and painting projects in the HOA/commercial market. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill our outside sales role in the Greater Orange County area.

As an outside sales representative with PrimeCo, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your relationship building skills by calling on previous clients, You will also focus on building your pipeline by offering specialized solutions to new customers who are property managers, attorneys, commercial property owners and general contractors.

With this role, your office is your car, which will be provided for you in addition to a laptop, iPhone, iPad and gas card. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on face to face interaction as 75% of your time will be calling on clients, attending job walks, board meetings and tradeshows. The other 25% will be working out of your home or in our newly redesigned office within walking distance to the Pacific Ocean entering new leads, reviewing proposals and strategizing on new business prospects.

What Can You Expect?

Does the idea of unlimited potential excite you? With PrimeCo, you will receive an ample base salary your first year with additional commission on any closed deals. After your first 12-months you will receive a smaller salary with no cap to commission. Our sales members routinely earn $70-$100k in the first year and more than $100k+ in the years that follow.
